You can’t think through

The enlightenment.

You ought to feel the path

To the embodiment.

Her body is the whole world under the microscope.

 

Mountains become soft females’ curves.

Valleys nest in her nurturing belly.

Night skies are shining behind her chest.

Trees ground themselves below her feet.

And rivers flow through her eyes.

 

So what, my dear, if all your tears are just rivers in the land of your body?

Like a lost feather in the wind,

I was searching for a safe spot to land.

 

The dusk came. Sun was out.

And I returned back to my restless spirit.

 

I placed my flesh and bones on the floor,

Allowing the Earth to ground me.

 

The rhythm of healing tunes lifted me up,

Inviting me to the ritual of ecstatic dance.

 

Anxiety was replaced with placid knowing,

Fear bowed the rising dawn of safety.

 

Color splashes flew through my mind,

Resetting my body, painting trust on my skin.

As you put a shell to your ear,

To catch a kiss from the sea,

I am tuning into radio frequencies,

Indulging in the music of fantasies.

 

The universe of gentle daydreaming embraces me while I’m:

 

Swinging in a hammock,

Pushing bicycle pedals,

Dancing in a rapture.

 

Hours pass by.

I’m still resting in the arms of a thoughtful sky,

Painting new realities

On canvases of my mind.

One day all of this will make sense.

 

One day I’ll look back on all the

Handstands I held,

Poems I wrote,

Kisses I shared,

And it will all make sense.

 

As long as nothing makes sense,

I’ll continue to

Make the scary moves,

Express my thoughts,

Give chances to people.

 

Because the Knowing inside me says,

One day it will all make sense.

Silence between

Me talking and

Me listening.

 

Space between

Me thinking and

Me observing.

 

Seconds between

Me feeling and

Me surrendering.

 

Silence.

Space.

Seconds.

 

What if the music I longed for

Plays quietly in my ears?

 

What if the knowing I searched for

Beats gently in my chest?

 

What if the creation I wished for

Rests lightly in my hands?

 

I listen.

I observe.

I surrender.

 

So life can do the

Talking, thinking, and feeling.

Closer I meet myself,

More introverted I become.

 

Closer I am to my truth,

More intimate I am with my spirit.

 

Closer I pay attention to details,

More surrendered I am to magic.

 

Inner experiences become more valuable than anything the outer world could ever offer me. 

 

The silence of pure creative rush is more fulfilling than all the sensations of the busy world.

 

Conversations and opinions don’t enrich me as awareness of oneself does.

 

It is time for

More of me

And less 

Of everything else.

Dash of gold,

Dance of blood.

 

Pain of death,

Power of birth.

 

Solid as rocks,

Soft as wind.

 

All the energy of creation flows

from a menstruating woman.

Me and my shame walk into the bar.

She wants to sit in the corner,

While I wish to move on the dancefloor.

 

Me and my shame go shopping.

My boldness picks long skirts and crop tops,

My shame never allows me to wear them.

 

Me and my shame flirt with guys.

She makes me blush, hide and run away,

While my curiosity wants to experiment.

 

Me and my shame.

What a couple we are!

Never on the same page, yet never apart.

 

I asked her what she wanted.

She answered politely:

“Make friends with me. For as long as you deny our relationship, I will dictate your life.”

 

Me and my shame became a tandem.

She walks by my side,

And I got nothing to hide.

Scared to the bones of change,

Drained by the thought of staying the same.

 

Should I see the world?

Should I grow roots?

 

Frightened of loving again,

Melancholic in the embrace of singleness.

 

Unfinished poems.

Contradictory visions.

Empty chapters of the dawn.

 

And all these lifelong decisions about

What “I” meant yesterday,

What “I” is achieving today,

What “I” wishes to explore tomorrow.
